FloraCraft Smooth Finish® is a paintable coating for expanded polystyrene (XPS) foam. It is designed to transform XPS foam’s crunchy cell structure into a smooth, paintable surface. FloraCraft Smooth Finish is easy to apply with a spatula, putty knife or paintbrush and requires minimal to no sanding. Plus, the fast-drying formula won’t shrink or crack. One 8-ounce jar will cover a 12” x 24” foam surface with one coat. Once coating is completely dry, around 2-4 hours after application, you can embellish your Smooth Finish project with a wide range of products including spray paint, acrylic paint, watercolors, decoupage, markers, gel pens, crayons, pastels and chalk. It is also still soft enough to pin into!
